At simplewoodentoys.com, conservation of natural resources is a primary concern. Though the timber we use is renewable, it is not expendable. In an effort to use our resources in a responsible way, you'll find that the toys we make may have small knots or variations in color. This does not affect the strength or safety of the toy. We try our best to fulfill orders as closely as possible to the items depicted in the product photo. We reserve the right to substitute wood species according to availability, and the artistic liberty to make changes both for aesthetic appeal and durability of the product.
We also make a practice of reusing shipping materials whenever possible. Sometimes our boxes aren't pretty, but it's an earth-friendly practice. We encourage you to recycle on the receiving end as well.
We do not publish a paper catalog, nor do we do bulk mailings, for the fact that the practice contributes to waste. If a certain page of our site interests you, or you would like to share it with someone offline, feel free to print a copy for personal use, but turn off background color, or print it in draft mode and save some ink!

by the quality of our work
we want you to have your money back. Simply return the toy within 30 days, insured, in its original shipping materials, and we will issue a prompt refund. However, we cannot reimburse you for your shipping costs.
We are happy to repair any of our toys that experience a mishap - free of charge (other than shipping), for our lifetime (we're both 39). If the breakage could be prevented by a design change, we will replace your toy with the more current design.
